Community Trust president joins Baxter Credit Union

After more than nine years as president of Gurnee-based Community Trust Credit Union, he will join Baxter Credit Union, which is nearly 10 times larger in assets than Community Trust. His new job will be senior vice president for business development with an office in Vernon Hills, where the credit union is headquartered. "It's an opportunity with new challenges for me. Baxter Credit Union is the largest credit union in Lake County," Bratsakis said. His successor at Community Trust will be Madeline Lipka, recently promoted to chief executive officer from vice president of operations. "For the past eight years, she has been the No. 2 top executive at Community Trust," he said.
